Design on a Shoestring: Tips and Tricks From the Trenches

Led by one of Adaptive Path's Design Strategists, Henning Fischer.

Good design alone isn’t enough to get great experiences out into the world. You need to be smart about how you start and finish as well. That’s where design strategy comes in to play- ensuring that the design of products and services meets business needs, leverages your design opportunities (and abilities) and delivers real customer value.

There's just one problem.

Most businesses don’t have full time design strategists waiting in the wings to pounce on problems as they arise. That’s fine. What you DO need to get a great experience out into the world is a plan that connects user and business value. Designers are asked to bridge that gap almost every day, but knowing where to start when putting together a strategy can be tough, especially with all the other things competing for your time. The good news is that putting together a quick strategy on a shoestring isn’t as hard or complex as you may think.

For product and project managers and interaction designers this talk will give an overview of effective methods and frameworks that we use every day to to give you some clarity about the things you can affect, how much impact you will have and how it all comes together into something that’s hard to beat.

You will receive a confirmation of your registration which includes a link to this recording.
